Full Job Description
Candidate Must have:
-Airframe and Power Plant licenses.
-General Aviation Experience
-Familiar with FAR's, applicable to Repair Station Certification and Operations. -Understanding of procedures for completing FAA paperwork to included FAA-8130-3 and other relevant documents.
-Knowledge of technical data and quality procedures as applicable to FAA-145 Repair Station.
Basic Duties to include:
-Complete inspections, repairs, and component changes in accordance with the manufacturer or FAA approved procedures, conforming to quality control standards, on schedule, and in compliance with FAA regulations.
-Makes periodic inspections of the working area and takes necessary steps to correct any discrepancies related to safety, cleanliness, organization, or general housekeeping practices.
-Promotes a healthy culture for the department and the team that benefits employee engagement, happiness, customer loyalty, safety, integrity, and overall excellence.
-Provides technical support on a variety of tasks.
-Must be able to work independently as well as support other team members.
-Must have valid driver’s license.
-Must pass the DOT Drug & Alcohol tests.
-Must have own tools, be able to lift 40 - 80 lbs., squat, kneel, bend, and twist during daily maintenance tasks.
-This position is hands-on. The candidate will work on repairs and help manage the repair department.
