We are currently seeking an entry-level A&P Mechanic to join our team in Peoria, IL.
Qualifications:
- Ideal applicants should have a background in aviation maintenance and/or hangar management.
- The ideal candidate should also possess strong knowledge of aircraft systems, possess a valid A&P certification, and the ability to pass a DOT drug test.
- The applicant must live in the surrounding Peoria, IL area.
Availability Requirements:
- Must be available for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to travel for extended periods of time, if necessary.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on private jet aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on aircraft.
- Ensure aircraft are in safe and operational condition for flights.
- Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records.
- Perform general facility maintenance, including cleaning and organizing the hangar.
