The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT 2) is a critical TechOps role at Delta. In this role, you will maintain the proper and safe functioning of Delta’s fleet, ensuring customers have an exceptional travel experience. An AMT 2 in the PW Geared Turbofan Shop will perform from light to heavy overhaul maintenance on Delta’s fleet of GTF engines along with MRO customer engines, according to Delta, FAA and other countries aviation authorities' specifications. The AMT will perform inspections during disassembly/assembly of parts and after repair or installation of parts and components; document maintenance procedures including parts and component damage, origin, and condition; and practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

The minimum starting hourly rate for this position is $37.73 with a potential maximum hourly rate of $38.32. The ability to reach the maximum hourly rate is dependent upon several other offered premiums (Examples would include but not limited to - Airframe and Powerplant license, Shift differential, Station location differential, Line Maintenance differential, Skill differential).
