Beyond Gravity also uses its space knowledge for applications outside of space technology: The high-precision products have already been used in the semiconductor industry for more than 20 years.
Our Titusville location is looking for a temporary Aerospace Techinican for a 6 month period. This position would be eligible for benefits during this 6 month period. Responsible for material perparation, and assembly of mechanical structures used for satellites.

Job Responsibilies:
  • Must be able to follow written work instructions and interpret technical drawings to assemble mechanical structures used for satellites
  • Perform installation of components, Kapton, and Rivnuts onto structures
  • Perform chemical coating, adhesive preparation and application and finishing of aerospace hardware
  • Operate powered hand tools as required
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedure and regulations
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
  • Perform final quality control inspections on finished parts
  • Support the non-conformance process and secure measures for root cause analyses, corrective and preventive measures
  • Support continuous improvements in concerned manufacturing processes to deliver in line with customer quality, cost, and demand requirements

Job Requirements:
  • Trade School, A.S. degree preferred
  • Demonstrate +4 years of previous hands-on aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Focused on Safety
  • Attention to detail and judgement
  • Willing to identify defects during assembly to support process improvements
  • Demonstrates insight into quality and safety standards including AS9100 and OSHA or similar
  • Space or Aerospace experience
  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge/experience
  • Mechanical Aptitude
