Salary Range: Base $75,600 - $ 81,275 plus Monthly Commission

Account Managers are responsible for increasing sales and maximizing margins with aligned accounts. As the wholesale consultant to their clients, they will be expected to bring innovative sales ideas to their customers on a consistent basis and be viewed as their customer’s trusted advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for strategizing deals, presenting opportunities, negotiating, objection handling, and educating aligned clients around UCG full product suite
  • Build an account plan using UCG’s template uploaded in NS that provides strategic insights for each account (50% of accounts by year end)
  • Understand each product well enough to know how and when to maximize margins with aligned accounts
  • Focus on growing average deal size YOY
  • Aligned accounts are expected to transact with UCG monthly (minimum)
  • In conjunction with the Purchasing Specialist, identifies and remediates potential inventory inefficiencies through targeted trading opportunities.
  • Execute on customer specific sales programs and marketing programs and handle escalations for assigned account(s)
  • Assist with Incoming trading phone calls and other trading responsibilities for order flow in high-volume periods and vacation back-up
  • Consistently enter best in class orders known at UCG as “perfect orders”
  • Participate in corporate and social events (including trade shows) with industry professionals as delegated by management.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with assigned customers and vendors.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the industry trends, taxonomy, and best practices
  • Complying with all CRM, ERP, and UCG processes and policies

KPI’s/Quota:

  • Minimum net growth sales of $100M in aligned accounts
    • May adjust based on market conditions.
  • Add 40 new services to existing account base (minimum)
  • 10% increase number of trades/territory (minimum)
  • Exceed weekly targets as it relates to UCG’s marketing programs
  • 90% of aligned accounts are transacting on a monthly basis (minimum)
  • Customer rating of 5+ or top rating (when service is available)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience doing business development
  • MBA, and/or other advanced degrees or professional certifications highly desirable
  • Advanced working knowledge of all MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel
  • Previous CRM experience; NetSuite experience highly desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative and problem solve with internal business partners

Other:

  • Onsite position with hour from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm

Travel Requirement:

  • Occasional travel to trade shows, industry events and customer locations as needed
