Job Summary:

The Account Manager will be responsible for onboarding new customers, retention of existing customers, expansion sales of products/services. The Account Manager will cultivate existing relationships, build new relationships within assigned accounts, and ultimately drive retention and expansion sales to exceed revenue targets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Onboards new customers, building customer success plans, ensuring customers are rostered and trained on the platform.
  • Conducts webinars and in-person presentations and perform calls and emails necessary to develop and retain a strong relationship with assigned accounts.
  • Demonstrates an effective approach to developing assigned territory, keeping a business plan up-to-date, and building on a proper sales expansion strategy.
  • Cultivates deep relationships that result in a deep knowledge of your territory, market trends, competitor activity, and budgetary constraints.
  • Ongoing learnings of company offered product /services.
  • Manages product evaluations, and coordinates with sales to provide a high level of success following company standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of product, industry, and/or services provided to clients.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of closing experience preferred.
  • Experience in K-12 education/administration is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
