This position will inspect, repair, and care for Visa's aircraft to ensure it is airworthy, dispatchable, and ready to support business requirements while improving the efficiencies and effectiveness of the Aviation team. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will report to the Aircraft Program Manager.
Essential Functions:
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work up to 25% of the time.
Physical Requirements
Work performed in a maintenance facility / hangar / outside on a ramp.
Work can include being in a confined space or on ladders or in elevated areas, such as on a high lift to reach a wing or engine.
Working in areas with noise, corrosion, hot and cold surface hazards.
Standing for long periods of time, bending, stretching, twisting, grasping sometimes repeated movements with fingers, hands, wrists.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
Safe operations of aircraft tugs, carts, and lifts.
Basic Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
5 years aviation experience.
Continuing education in aviation maintenance through accredited schools or manufacturer’s training programs preferred.
Demonstrated effective communications to include written and verbal.
Demonstrated effective planning and organization skills.
Well-developed troubleshooting skills and capability of solving complex technical issues with limited supervision required.
Collaborate and function effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
Ability to drive continuous improvement activities to exceed customer expectations and help promote a professional organization.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
7 or more years aviation experience.
Broad knowledge and experience with the maintenance of aircraft of the class, category, and type that Visa operates.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 98,000.00 to 125,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
